By this logic, SSj Kid Trunks would be stronger than SSj Gohan since both of them kicked Fat Boo by surprise, but Boo stayed down much longer after Trunks' kick than Gohan's. |

No. 20 doesn't think much of Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin and Ten, yet he still thinks their energy is enough to close the gap between himself and Vegeta. This is after he watches Vegeta thrash No. 19. And there's all that stuff everyone else presented that I'm not going to repeat, so yeah, No. 20 wins. |

Well, ig it really doesn't matter who's stronger either or because 19 & 20 were beaten badly. So not that much emphasis has to be put on these androids. So there's that. lol |

Went from being hellbent on 19 post > 20 to now it suddenly doesn't matter, even though the entire purpose of this topic is about these two and which one wins in a fight It's a start, I guess. Edited by Slifer, Sep 12 2016, 04:16 AM.

Atta-boy, Squall. Just ignore every fact that goes against you, and insist it's a matter of opinion. I actually clicked this topic with it in my mind that #19 probably ended up stronger than #20, but after Mr. Hashbrowns and Pyrus noted that Vegeta was bluffing, and would have lost to #20, despite obliterating #19, I've no choice but to, not agree, but recognise—acknowledge—that #20 was stronger. At least this didn't turn into a s***show like that other thread. He's not wrong exactly. Largely, the power of 19 and 20 isn't too relevant to the rest of the arc. |

No, but it's the principle of it. Insisting what everyone says to him is wrong 'just cuz' he doesn't like it, and instead of just admitting he's wrong, he tries to back away in the most cowardly manner possible. "This debate doesn't even matter". It mattered to you enough to make a fool of yourself over it. |

Gender Neutral. To be fair, you kinda made that other thread into that as one of your posts were removed because of it. So it wasn't on my side. Putting that aside, I still think 19 post> 20. It's been shown in the manga, the rest is up for interpretation.. So there's that. I honestly don't think that it even matter if either one is stronger. Ignoring Squall-boy's nonsense, it just occurred to me that Vegeta might have only dropped to a weak enough state that he needed to bluff after he had used energy to finishing off #19. Vegeta > Vegeta (drained) > #19 (absorbed) > #20 > Vegeta (after using energy to finish off #19) It's not like we know how much energy he had to use to finish the job off, so I guess it's still viable. |

Yeah, I've argued a chain such as that before. If this is 20 with no upgrades, it works. I haven't once argued 20 (pre-absorption) is superior to 19 (post-absorption), in this thread at least. Edited by Pyrus, Sep 12 2016, 05:41 AM.

That's a possibility I already considered, but the way Piccolo worded it makes me think the main reason of Vegeta's loss of energy was the Androids' absorptions: Chapter: 345 (DBZ 151), P6.1-2 Context: after Vegeta scares No.20 away with a bluff Piccolo: “He really had lost a lot of stamina…when he confirmed that the androids sucked out energy with the palms of their hands…He ought to have lost if he had fought that No.20 guy…But he talked as if he still had something up his sleeve…Vegeta really is a fighting genius…He might have sur-surpassed…Goku…” Viz is even more straightforward on it: Piccolo: "He really did lose most of his powers... just to confirm that the androids drain chi from their palms." But I still think #19 (post absorptions) > #20 (pre absorptions), because Vegeta smashing #19 around like a ragdoll made him [#19] lose power, which is backed up by #20 stating that if Goku keeps beating #19 like that, the latter would ran out of energy. Chapter 341 (DBZ 147), P6.6 No.20: “…Kuh…! Th-this power up greatly exceeds my estimated data…Th-this is bad. Like this, No.19 will run out of energy before he steals any power…” So something like: "#19 [post Goku] > #20 [pre ansorptions] ~ Vegeta [post energy drain] > Vegeta [post BBA] > #19 [post Vegeta's energy but beated up]" seems fair to me. #20 [post absorptions] should undoubtedly be above #19 [post Goku] though, since the former was considered a candidate to whoop Trunks' a***: Chapter: 347 (DBZ 153), P3.2-3 Piccolo: “It seems that in the original history, we were supposed to be wiped out by you two androids…But it looks like the future has changed somehow…Was it that you weren’t as strong as we thought?...Or have we grown too strong?... While #19's [post absorptions] power wasn't given the same respect: Chapter 343 (DBZ 149), P7.4 Vegeta: “I’ve realized by watching your faint movements up to now…That you guys don’t seem as terrible as the rumors made out.” EDIT: I think #19 didn't lose any power through Goku's beaten [or if he did, it wasn't so considerable], seeing #20 said his creation will run out of power, in a future sentence. Vegeta's beaten, on the other hand, seems to affect #19 a lot more, with he even lasting a bit long to stand up. Edited by ahill1, Sep 13 2016, 09:06 PM.
